About the Garden
The Community Garden is a community-based, voluntary organisation.
Established in 2011, the Garden became an incorporated entity, Community Garden Ocean Grove Inc., in September 2014.
The Garden is a member of Community Gardens Australia, https://communitygarden.org.au/.
Address
Wadawurrung Country, 108 The Parade, Ocean Grove, 3226, Victoria.
The Garden is behind the Senior Citizens Club, 101 The Terrace, Ocean Grove.
There are entrances to the Garden from both streets.
Logo and slogan
The logo and slogan for the Community Garden were the result of a community competition held in Ocean Grove primary schools in 2012.
- The logo was designed by Lachlan Clarke, a student from Surfside Primary School
- Our slogan, Sow, Grow, Share, was created by Maya Womersley, a student from Our Lady Star of the Sea Primary School
